How To Style A Leopard Coat

This winter the animal prints were a really big thing. Snakes and leopards had turned the showcases into their natural habitat. I wanted to own a leopard coat since autumn and I finally got one. We all know that there are some objections to these prints, and maybe that’s one of the reasons I get 50/50 opinions “for” and “against” buying that coat. But if you forget the early Sashka Vaseva for a moment, you will find that leopard prints can be very stylish, elegant and classy, as long as they are combined properly.

I have a few basic rules which I follow when I wear a leopard coat – my clothes and makeup should be in neutral tones and I avoid overdressing with too many accessories and huge jewelry. I’ve seen super-stylish combinations of a leopard print with a snake or plaids, but they were matched by professionals. Personally, I would not risk, because the line between stylish and cheesy is very thin and I’m afraid of crossing it. So I let the animal print to be an accent and I choose a black dress or my favorite combination of jeans with a beige sweater. I finish the look with light make-up in earth tones and minimalist jewelry.
